How You Can Invite People to a Discord Serve

A Discord server can be set up for a company, a community, or a small group of friends to communicate with one another. Send out invites to friends and fans to persuade them to join your Discord server, or create a permanent custom invite link to share with them on a regular basis.

How You Can Invite Someone to a Discord Server

If the server is open to the public, you can easily invite anyone to join it by right-clicking the server icon on the left. Then, select "Invite Others" from the drop-down menu.

You can invite your friends by clicking on the "Invite" button next to their names in the Friends list menu. You can also copy a link to your clipboard, then share with anyone else by choosing the option "Copy."

This invitation link will expire in 24 hours if it is not used within that time frame. The link will work even if the recipient is not already a member of Discord; they will be able to sign up and join the server if you send them the link.

How You Can Customize a Discord Invite

The expiration date and maximum number of uses for a Discord invite link can both be customized. For more customization options, choose "Edit Invitation Link" from the menu options shown above in the Invite section.

Using the first drop-down menu in this Server Invite Link Settings window, select the duration of the link you want to use. You have the option of setting intervals ranging from 30 minutes to infinity.

The second drop-down menu allows you to specify the maximum number of users who can access the link before it expires. Individuals or everyone can have access to this setting, depending on your preferences. Finally, toggle the "Grant Temporary Membership" switch to prevent accounts from being removed from the server when they log out of Discord.
