How to Automatically Rotate Windows 10 Wallpapers Via RSS Feed

It’s trite, but true. The little things in life can bring us an overwhelming joy: a child’s first steps, a wonderfully cooked steak, or even the sight of a fresh, beautiful image as your computer’s desktop background. Right?

While there are many ways you'll set your Windows 10 desktop background to rotate wallpapers through some series of images, there’s really just one choice to change your Windows 10 wallpaper automatically via RSS feed an that is the: John’s Background Switcher.

John’s Background Switcher

John’s Background Switcher (JBS) is that the brainchild of John Conners, software developer and photographer from Scotland. John Conners has been supporting and improving the JBS since the first time he created the program back in the year 2004.

The words of John Conners are thus, “Over the time I have expanded the functionality from the different suggestions people have given to me, making good use of it and now you'll choose photos from different spread of web sites like Google Photos, Vladstudio, Unsplash, Flickr, Dropbox, OneDrive, smugmug, and the RSS feeds also as your local machine.”

It’s crystal clear that JBS is known as a labor of affection for Conners. Truly, this is often free software development at its best. Conners saw a requirement, wrote a program to fill the gap, and consistently responds to user feedback. If you employ JBS, throw the guy a bone. (Side note: Conners’ piece about the death of his mother? OMG, is someone cutting onions?)

Below, we’ll take you on a walk through the steps to put in JBS, subscribe a media RSS feed, and begin to enjoy beautiful backgrounds on your Windows 10 machine.
