McConnell plays coy on possible 2020 Supreme Court nominee
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) left open the possibility that a Republican-controlled Senate during the 2020 election year would confirm a Supreme Court nominee by President Donald Trump. This comes after McConnell would not hold hearings for President Obama's Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland in 2016.
