REPAIR dead Laptop Battery. Last resort

WARNING: TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK... could blow up ...In my case it didn't but results may vary :)) PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION while tinkering around with the laptop battery as Lithium cells are very dangerous !!! Also if you have an expensive device I'd just buy a new battery, don't risk it. UPDATE: Not all batteries will work with this trick, had an Asus one that would work once charged externally, but the laptop just wouldn't charge the battery pack (that may have been because I caused a short on the board or it detected that I changed the cells, or perhaps because 2 of the old cells were dead and it tripped a warning flag on the chip). In case you want to replace (=cheaper) the cells of the Laptop Battery know that most batteries will have a chip on the PCB of the battery and once you disconnect/replace the cells, the chip will lose it's setting and the battery will not work anymore. THE FIX is simple enough as you can see in the video above. I decided to make this video because I faced the same problem and found no solution after searching the internet for a very long time. The only solutions that were offered was either buy a new battery or buy a chip re-setter (both alternatives are a bit too expensive for me)
