But for this your phone needs to be rooted. If you don't know what that means, forget you ever read this answer. But if you do know, follow the steps given below. Install a file explorer that can access root (ES file explorer) Navigate to root directory Goto data/misc/wifi You'll find a file with the name wpa_supplicant.conf Open it using any text editor and you'll find the SSIDs and passwords for every network you've ever connected. But do NOT edit the file. For non rooted: If your device is not rooted then to know the password you have to go to the router settings page. For this most of the routers have address or Open your browser and go to router's page by typing the ip in the address bar. There you will see a login page and if you are lucky as in most of the cases the administrator does not change default username and password, then its your day. You can visit router company website to check what the default username and password is or in most of the routers it is Username - 'admin' Password - 'admin' or Username - 'admin' Password -.............. (blank). Try one of these and you are in. Now locate wireless or wlan settings. There you explore and search for the password. It will be in a plain text format. Just note it down and enjoy others wifi. In short : In case of Rooted Android phones: 1. Download any root file manager 2. Goto /data/misc/wifi 3.
