Android Wear smartwatches aren’t essentially like your smartphone devices; they’re more like an auxiliary device than a standalone unit, so most of the time you don’t need to install a cluster of apps directly onto the watch itself even though it is possible with the release of Android Wear 2.0. However, most people store music on it for freedom from the phone and I’m very sure you do also. So sometimes you just need to know how much storage you have left on the smartwatch so you don’t run out of space.

If you want to check how much storage you have left on your smartwatch, here’s how to do so.

The first thing to do is to open up the Android Wear app. That’s where everything you are gonna check all things you need to know. From there, tap on the little cog icon (settings) at the upper right corner.

Next, tap on the option that has your connected watch’s name.

Now there are a handful of options in this menu, since you’re looking for the “Watch Storage” option, scroll down to look for it and tap on it once you found it.

From this page, you’ll be able to see a simple breakdown of how much storage your watch has (most smartwatches are 4GB, but a portion of that is taken up by the system itself), how much storage is available, and a list of applications installed together with how much space they’re taking up.

Like I said, it’s a simple breakdown and list is little more than just basic info. Unfortunately, you can’t tap on any of the entries for more options. And if you want to uninstall anything, you’ll have to do that from Android’s Apps menu not possible from here directly.
Nevertheless, this will give you an idea of app’s and stuffs eating up your space so you can start to choose what you need and forgo what you don’t.
