Are you receiving distracting and disturbing notifications on your Android Wear? Here’s how to stop receiving notifications from some apps on Android Wear.

Android Wear is now one of the handiest and useful smartwatches you could ever get. And receiving notifications right on your wrist is very cool and makes things easier. However, it can be very annoying and distracting, if the notifications you are receiving is too much, particularly if the notification isn’t important.

For instance, you might be receiving some notifications from Facebook on your watch while reading and it can be a very huge source of distraction. The solution is to block those apps from syncing notifications to your watch.

The first thing to do now is to open the Android Wear app from the main menu of your phone. Then tap on the Settings icon (cog icon) at the top-right corner of the screen.

Then tap on the “Block app notifications” entry, which is under the “General” section.

From this menu, you’ll be able to block apps from sending notifications to your watch. You'll also be able to see blocked apps from this menu. So tap on the plus sign at the bottom of the screen.

Then you’ll see a list of all the apps that are sending notifications to your Android Wear. So scroll down the list and search for the annoying app. Once, you’ve found the app, tap on it in order to add it to the list.

Then it will be added to blocked apps list.

That’s all. From now on, you won’t receive any notifications from those apps on your watch.
