Do you know that you can reboot your Roku TV box without the need to unplug it? As long as you follow the steps below, you will be able to reboot your Roku without the need to unplug it.

The Roku doesn’t have a power button, and there’s no way to even restart it in the user interface. It is very annoying if a device doesn’t have a power button and it’s a problem when things crash. Things like updates and adding private channels are basically carried out by rebooting the system. How are going to restart it when it doesn’t a power button or menu in Roku that can be used to restart it.

However, isn’t there any way to force the Roku to restart, without the need to unplug the power and plug it back in?

Of course, yes, there’s a combination of buttons you can press to force a software reboot, and it works even if the system is crashed.

The process is quite a bit long, however, don’t worry we’ve got your back. So here’s how to reboot your Roku without unplugging it.

Ensure you press the buttons in the order below:

On your Roku TV, press the Home button five times.

Then press the Up arrow once.

Now press the Rewind button two times.

Then press the Fast Forward button two times.

That’s all. Pressing the buttons in the order mentioned above, you’ll be able to see the side menu of your Roku scroll a little bit. Then from there, your Roku will turn off briefly, and after a few seconds the Roku will boot  up again.

So your Roku is restarting now and it will boot up as normal. You can start using it once your remote manages to pair itself again with it.
