To add media files to a Webpage, video or sound to your web site, you need the HTML tag called <embed>. The <embed> tag is used for embedding media files like video and audio.

The <noembed> tag can also be added, in order to display on browsers which don't recognize the <embed> tag.

Example

<!DOCTYPE html>

<html>

<head>

<title>Scholars Globe HTML embed Tag Example</title>

</head>

<body>

<embed src="/html/Scholars.wmv" width="100%" height="100" >

<noembed><img src="image.gif" alt="Alternative Media" ></noembed>
