Huawei P9 fans expect to see the handset at a media event on March 9, and it seems that every other day new leaks surface about the device.

No less than four models of Huawei P9 are scheduled to arrive at the media event. The first three are the Huawei P9, the Huawei P9 Max and the Huawei P9 Lite, to which the OEM adds a specially crafted model that sports extra RAM and a screen size fitting between the P9 and the P9 Max.

New images of the Huawei P9 surfaced recently, joined by a few interesting specs.

It looks like the Huawei P9 Lite version will take processing power from a Snapdragon 650 SoC that is backed by 2 GB RAM and a default storage space of 16 GB.

The Huawei P9 will come packed with a Kirin 950 chipset, with as much as 3 GB RAM and default storage of 32 GB.

The top-of-the-line versions are the custom Huawei P9 handset and the Huawei P9 Max, both of which run on Kirin 955 CPUs and carry 4 GB of RAM. Their storage space is also the largest of the bunch, with 64 GB of space out of the box.

It should be noted that the P9 Max model also has the largest screen, a 6-inch display.

When looking at the features, all smartphones from the P9 line have dual cameras on the back, as well as fingerprint scanners. This confirms earlier leaks that showed the new Huawei handsets using dual-cameras.
