Corporate social performance is the theory of social responsibility that focuses on how companies respond to issues, rather than trying to determine their ultimate social responsibility. Corporate social performance is also an important concept used to ensure the private sector has a positive impact on communities, employees and consumers.
 Social responsibility can be defined as an honorable framework that suggests an entity, be it an individual or organization, has a responsibility to act for the benefit of society.

Student social responsibility can be defined as the responsibility of every students for his/her actions.
Corporate social responsibility can be defined as the loyalty by business to act in an ethical manner, contribute to economic development and improves the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as the local community and society.
