How to Delete Conversations in the Alexa App

Oyetoke Tobi - Wednesday, June 14, 2017

Have you ever thought of deleting your conversations? Do you know that you can easily delete your conversations with the Alexa?

If you ever want to prevent your conversations list in the Alexa app from getting out of your control or cluttered, here’s how to delete some conversations that you’re no more active in.

With the addition of the new calling and messaging features in Alexa, there’s now a new Conversations screen in the Alexa app which is very akin to your phone’s native text messaging app. You can just delete certain conversations in order to clean it up a bit, just like how you do with your stock messaging app.

To do this, launch the Alexa app on your phone and tap on the small speech bubble at the bottom.

Then all your conversations will be listed in a list. Now look for the conversation that you want to delete or you aren’t active in anymore.

To delete the conversation, swipe on the conversation to the left and then tap on “Remove”.

With that, the conversation will be deleted immediately. So you can repeat this process for any other conversations that you want to delete.

However, have this in mind that you won’t be able to recover any deleted conversations, so make absolutely sure that you want to delete a certain conversation, since you won’t be able to get it back.
