Screenshot is a way of showing a point, building a case and documenting things with image. Taking a screenshot of your iPhone screen is a great way to save exactly what you can see on your iPhone screen as an image.

Fortunately, it’s very simple to take screenshots on iPhone since the shortcut command is built right into iOS.

There are many reasons you might want to snap a screenshots of your iPhone screen. As a tech blogger, you may need to show your readers how to do something step by step on iPhones and demonstrating it with screenshots. Or maybe you are running into a problem on your iPhone and you need an IT guy to help you to solve it online or ask for help on IT forums, you’ll need to take a snapshot of the problem you are facing. You may also take a screenshot of your iPhone on-screen barcode so that even if you can’t load the webpage or app, you can still make them scan the code.

You’ll definitely find yourself using it in many new ways every time, once you have the habit of using the screenshot tool.

To take a screenshot on any iOS device such as iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch is very easy. All you need to do is to just press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button which can be the power button simultaneously.

Then your iPhone screen will flash white for a brief moment and the screenshot will be saved as a .PNG file in your Apple’s Photos app. All your screenshots will be conveniently saved in their own folder named “Screenshots” when you’re in the Albums view.

So from there, you can open, edit, and send screenshots like any other photo on your iOS device. You can attach them to your iMessages, use them in mails, or copy them to your computer with a USB cable and post them as blog images, just like any other photo.
