How to Post Photos to Instagram Directly With iOS Photos

Oyetoke Tobi - Sunday, July 03, 2016

Instagram app being one of the most popular social media has a lot of features which makes it easier to use it. And one of the pretty new overlooked features to come to the Instagram app is the ability to post photos without even opening the Instagram app.

With this features, you’ll be able to post photos to Instagram without using the Instagram app. You’ll be using the iOS photos to post to Instagram directly easily.

And of course, this has some limitations if you use this method, you won’t have access to one of the things that makes Instagram so popular which is its filters.

But if you are not using the instagram filter, or have edited your photo in another iOS photo editing app, or you just want to post the photo like that, then you can easily post it to instagram.

In order to do this, open the Photos app and then open up the image you want to post.

Then tap on the Share button at the bottom-left side corner, which displays different ways you can use to share the image: AirDrop, message, etc. So if you are doing this for the first time, then you will have to swipe to the end of the apps that are listed and tap on the “More” button.

Then you’ll see another list of apps you can use with your photo, so scroll down to Instagram, and swipe the button on.

After doing that, the Instagram option will be listed among those apps. So tap on the Instagram icon and it will open up a dialog box where you’ll be able to add a caption to the image. Tap on the share button in order to post the photo, and your photo will be posted.

You can also use the same method directly from the native Camera app also, which allow you to post images immediately you captured them.
