How to Delete VPN Profiles on iPhone

A lot of VPN services have made it really simple and easy to create and set up a VPN profiles on your iPhone device. Numerous apps like TunnelBear help to do all the stressful and annoying task for you. 

Assuming you are no more using these profiles or settings and want to delete them, you won’t find it easy to do because the process to delete those settings are hidden in your phone. 

So if you are willing to do this, then here’s how to find that settings and delete them.

Luckily, there are two methods you can use to delete VPN settings, and each method is very easy to carry out. 

First Method

In case you installed VPN services app on your iPhone device, then the best solution is to uninstall the app. Apps like TunnelBear that creates and set up the profiles or settings on your phone, so all you have to do is to uninstall the app from your phone. Doing this will delete the settings altogether.

Second Method

In case you set up the VPN settings manually, then you should head to Settings > General > VPN. Then, you will see a list of the VPN profiles you've created. 

Tap on the “i” button beside the one you would like to delete, and then a delete button will appear beneath the details. Then tap on it.



So you will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the VPN settings, confirm it and it will be deleted from your phone.

This methods also applies to iOS device like iPad or iPod Touch.
