Google Calendar is Down Due to Server Error

Oyetoke Tobi - Thursday, June 30, 2016

Google Calendar appears to be temporarily down according to Google’s App Status Dashboard.

Try visiting to Google Calendar now and you’ll probably be welcomed with a server error page that tells you in numerous languages that Google Calendar is having server error issue and they are on it.

Actually the last outage was back in November 2015. Then, Google Calendar would still sometimes manage to load without issues. But this time, you'll always be redirected to the “unavailable” landing page. While some Google calendar users have taken it to Twitter and Facebook to complain about the outage.

The unavailable page English error message says: “Google Calendar is temporarily unavailable. Please try back later. In the meanwhile, you might find useful information on our Help Group and Help Center. We apologize for any inconvenience.” Also the other 17 languages say the same thing when translated.

The below screenshot is the page we are redirected to when we try to visit google calendar. You can check it out also here.

We’ll keep you posted when the service returns.
