What is Testing and Debugging?

Oyetoke Tobi - Thursday, March 17, 2016

Testing involves in identifying bug or error or fault in a software without fixing it. Generally professionals with a quality assurance background are concerned in bugs’ identification. Testing is conducted in the testing phase.

Debugging involves in identifying, separating, and correcting the problems or bugs or errors. Developers who code the software perform debugging upon finding an error in the code. Debugging is a part of White Box Testing or Unit Testing. Debugging can be conducted in the development phase while performing Unit Testing or in phases while correcting the reported bugs.
