What is Stress Testing?

Stress testing consists of testing the behavior of a software under irregular and unusual conditions. 

Features of Stress Testing

1. The purpose of stress testing is to test the software by enforcing the load to the system and taking over the resources used by the software to point out the breaking point. 

2. Testing can be conducted by Shutdown or restarting of network ports randomly.

3. 
Testing can be conducted by Turning the database on or off.

4. Opening and running different processes that consume resources such as CPU, memory, etc.
