What is Portability Testing?

Portability testing deals with the testing of software with the purpose to make sure its reusability and that it can be moved from another software as well. 

Features of Portability Testing:

1. Transferring installed software from one computer to another.

2. Creating executable (.exe) to run the software on different platforms.

Conditions for Portability Testing:

1. Software should be designed and coded, keeping in mind the portability requirements.

2. Unit testing has been conducted on the associated components.

3. Integration testing has been conducted.

4. Test environment has been established.
