What is Physical Data Independence?

Physical data independence can be defined as the authority to change and modify the physical data without impacting or altering the schema or logical data. All the schemas are logical, and the actual data is stored and saved in bit format on the disk.

For instance, Assume we want to change hard-disks with SSD, and we dont want it to have any impact or effect on the logical data or schemas with it.
