What is Performance Testing?

Performance testing is usually used to discover any constrictions or performance issues rather than looking for bugs or errors in a software. 

Below are the following different causes that impact in lowering the performance of a software:

1. Network delay

2. Client-side processing

3. Database transaction processing

4. Load balancing between servers

5. Data rendering

Performance testing is regarded as one of the most essential and compulsory testing type in conditions of the following views which includes Speed (that is response time, data rendering and accessing), Capacity, Stability and Scalability.

Performance testing can be also qualitative or valued and can be separated into different sub-types for instance Load testing and Stress testing.
